Music has always an important part of my life, from studying at all levels to performing with a wide range of ensembles and groups.  As a clarinet, saxophone and piano teacher, I am passionate about sharing my love of music with others and helping them to enjoy the magic of playing an instrument.  I am based in Newark, Nottinghamshire and provide music lessons for students from Newark and surrounding areas.

With over fifteen years’ experience as a piano, clarinet and saxophone teacher, I am fully equipped to help you reach your potential and develop your own appreciation and enjoyment of music.  My qualifications include a BA(Hons) degree in music from the University of York, a Diploma in Music from the Open University and Grade 8 in Clarinet, Piano, Saxophone and Music Theory.

I am a member of the professional musicians’ body, The Incorporated Society of Musicians, and stay up to date with the latest developments in music education through a range of Continued Professional Development courses.  I am also an active performer, and have experience playing keys and saxes with local function bands, including the Northside Jazz Band, as well as classical ensembles such as the Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra.

If you would like to book a clarinet, saxophone or piano lesson, please get in touch to arrange an initial consultation lesson.
